Dear Members & Friend’s,

First of all, I wish each one of you a very Happy and Prosperous Diwali and New Year.

On 10th October 2025, the Executive Council elected me as President of this prestigious institution. I express my heartfelt gratitude for the trust and confidence you have placed in me. I step into this role with humility and a deep sense of responsibility, fully aware that I follow in the footsteps of stalwarts such as Nani Palkhivala, Viren Shah, Keshub Mahindra, Adi Godrej, and many others who have built and nurtured this remarkable institution. These are indeed big shoes to fill—but together, I am confident we will achieve new milestones.

The Indo-American Society was established to foster the Indo–US relationship and to serve as a leading institution promoting cooperation and understanding between the people of India and the United States of America.

The Society has now completed 66 years, and I have had the privilege of being associated for five decades. I am a proud witness of its glorious journey as a pioneer in friendship, collaboration, and knowledge exchange through its diverse activities in the social, cultural, educational, economic, and management development fields.

However, we must candidly acknowledge that over time, the Society has lost some of its sheen, despite having immense potential—especially in connecting with today’s younger generation.

In these changing and challenging times, our mission must be to make the Indo-American Society more engaging, vibrant, and relevant—not only for our existing members but also for young professionals and students who will carry this institution forward.

Our programs—whether lectures, talks, symposia, forums, conferences, seminars, soft-skill courses, or management development initiatives—must be seen as value-driven, contemporary, and aligned with modern lifestyles and aspirations.

The need of the hour is collective commitment and active participation. With your support, enthusiasm, and ideas, I am confident that together, we can create new benchmarks and take the Indo-American Society to greater heights of excellence and relevance.
